We are focused on new chemical entities (NCEs) in our drug product pipeline to provide a radical change for the clinical treatment and outcome for infectious diseases that are specifically challenging for women. Specifically, no real changes have happened in decades for the treatment of vaginal yeast infections. Current treatments have unwanted side effects and often lead to more discomfort. We believe that our drug product pipeline provides superior and safer treatments for vaginal and nipple thrush, while changing the paradigm of how medical conditions are treated. At Sano Women's Health, we believe that innovation can foster higher standards of care and higher quality of life for women. Many infectious diseases are specific for women like vaginal yeast infections and nipple thrush. We are developing first-in-class treatments for antimicrobial resistant fungal infections, in which millions of women worldwide have no effective treatment options available to them.
Our Story
Sano Chemicals Inc, DBA of Sano Women's Health, was founded in 2012 in Bryan, Texas near Texas A&M University, known globally for its innovative research program. We have worked closely with the University, and are independent recipients of awards through the Texas New Venture Competition and Mass Challenge, and have earned a reputation for integrity and ingenuity.
